Sunday Portraits // December 2015
This year as far as resolutions (or better yet, "revolutions" as I've heard many call them) go I don't have many. The typical eat better, do yoga more, love better, etc. are always on the list. My hurdle every year though is setting goals that are attainable and intentional enough but not so much so that I miss one day or one week and feel like I have to wait until next year to start over. Ya get me?
Anyway I do have one that I'm pretty stoked about and it's a goal to capture important people in my life (namely little H and The Hubs) via portraits each week, called Sunday Portraits. I think it'll be easy peasey because I take so many pictures all day with my iphone. It will just require more intention and more writing. (Which is exactly what I need a "revolution" in!) Who knows, maybe I'll make a coffee table book at years end!
Here's portraits from this week. I'm starting a week early. Which only means I have a week to be lazy this year. Hehe.
I don't even know how to begin only choosing one photo of this adorable kid. Ah, I love him so much. He's loving this christmas season exclaiming "YIGHTS!" everytime we pass a decorated house. And "off?" when he sees a normal plant or bush not decorated. He's fallen about three times onto the same spot on his forehead (see bruise to the left) which has broken my little heart. Naturally Nonna (Grandma) bought him some new shoes to help with the tripping (hopefully!).
Above is me with our sweet baby sprout at fifteen weeks. I'm well over my morning sickness (praise Jesus for 2nd trimester) but I still can't seem to motivate myself to dress myself in anything other than leggings and an oversized shirt. Or better yet, change my nail polish apparently.
The hubs somehow got by without having his portrait taken, so here's a gem from October that I love.
